Service Introduction
Customers can pay their premiums in HKD using credit cards/bank accounts through the 'Online Payment Service' provided by local banks. This also avoids the hassle of cash or mailed check payments.

  • 'Hong Kong bank HKD credit card' for online payment Applicable payment types: Renewal Premium Premium Levy Policy Change Fees
    'Local Bank Account' online transfer Applicable payment types: Renewal Premium Premium Levy Loan Repayment Policy Change Fees
  • Payment Steps:
    Use 'Hong Kong bank HKD credit card' for online payment:
    • (1) Payment Merchant: China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited
    • (2) Withdrawal Account: Please select 'HKD credit card'
    • (3) Enter the 'Bill No. / Reference No." printed on the payment notice (applicable to renewal premiums)
    • (4) Payment Amount: Total amount payable in HKD
    • (5) After the completion of the online payment process, please keep the payment confirmation receipt.
  • Payment Steps:
    Use 'Local Bank Account' online transfer:
    • (1) Payment Merchant: China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited
    • (2) Withdrawal Account: Select Current or Savings Account
    • (3) Bill Number: Enter the 'Bill No. / Reference No.' (16 digits) printed on the payment notice (applicable to renewal premiums)
    • (4) Bill Category: 11–Payment in HKD 12–Payment in USD 13–Payment in RMB
    • (5) Payment Amount: Total amount to be paid in HKD/USD/RMB
    • (6) After the completion of the online payment process, please keep the payment confirmation receipt.
  • Please make the payment in advance of the due date, as it takes 3 working days to process the payment.
  • The online payment service steps for each bank vary slightly, and customers need to contact their payment bank for inquiries.

FAQs & Important Notes

Our company only accepts premium payments from the policyholder or the insured. If the payer is a third party from the designated category, the "Third Party Payment Instruction Form" (for renewal premium and premium levy only) and any required supporting documents must be submitted. If the third party payer is not in the designated category, the payment will not be accepted and will be refunded.

Credit card payment via e-banking is not accepted for policy loan repayment.
