FAQs & Important NotesOur company only accepts payments from the policyholder/insured. If the payer is a designated third party, a "Third Party Payment Instruction Form" (applicable only to renewal premiums and premium collection) and relevant supporting documents (if required) must be submitted. If the third-party payer is not a designated category, the payment will not be accepted and will be refunded through the original payment method.
If the payee account name is unable to be fully displayed due to character limit , you can ignore the part that cannot be shown. Refrain from abbreviating the English name of the payee account, as this may cause the remittance to be returned. For example, "China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited HK Branch" (57 characters). If the remittance application only allows 30 characters, the payee account field should show "China Life Insurance (Overseas)".
Both the local and overseas banks will charge the remitter a transfer fee (approximately HKD 200 / USD 25, subject to bank charges). The remitter is also responsible for any exchange rate differences. For detailed information on remittance fees, please inquire with the remitting bank. The actual amount transferred may be less due to bank charges, so please ensure that the remittance amount is sufficient to cover the policy premium and/or premium tax to avoid any issues with policy renewal due to insufficient funds. Any telegraphic transfer fees charged by the bank (if applicable) will be borne by the remitter.
Our company accepts remittance payments in all policy currencies.
